Our database of businesses connected
to outdoor and adventure activities is central to what we do.
Our ambition is to link indoor and outdoor sports
and recreation venues and facilities, manufacturers and retailers
of clothing and equipment, accommodation providers, pubs and restaurants,
public, private and voluntary sector organisations with individual
adventure enthusiasts and the wider public, to promote the participation
in outdoor and adventurous activities in South Yorkshire and the
Peak District.
Having a network means that we can reach out
across traditional boundaries of public and private sector, Yorkshire
and Derbyshire, social and environmental education, sports development,
youth development, personal development, social & community
development, in-bound tourism, regional business development and
regional brand identity.
The key to connecting all of the stakeholders
and reaching out to groups and communities lies in creating a
database or ‘knowledge hub’ that enables quick and
easy access into and across the network.
